'Star Tree' by Kerry Darlington is part of the new 'Tree of Tranquility' series

Since gaining enormous success with her ‘Tree of Life’ series of original artworks, Welsh artist Kerry Darlington has begun creating a new style of whimsical compositions; the ‘Tree of Tranquility’ pieces depict reaching braches which are adorned with objects of curiosity.  An array of ticking clocks, sumptuously wrapped presents, mouthwatering cupcakes and song birds inhabit Kerry’s world which finds inspiration in traditional fairytale and children’s story.

Kerry will no longer be producing the named ‘Tree of Life’ works as she wishes now to concentrate on the tranquility, abstract, floral and forest based artworks.

Gallery Rouge is pleased to have the largest collection of Kerry Darlington’s artwork represented in the UK which at the time of writing, includes some of the last ever created ‘Tree of Life’ pieces as well as some brand new artworks in her innovative and recognisable style.

TWhite Coke Bottle Example I crop

In early 2010, Todd White produced a number of images in association with Coca-Cola, which are now featured on a range of Limited Edition bottles.

Todd is quoted as saying this of the collaboration, “The opportunity to work on this project with Coca-Cola was exciting–Coke is part of our pop culture, a common touchstone for people all over the world. It has inspired scores of artists, from Andy Warhol and Keith Haring to Norman Rockwell and Guy Peellaert and everyone in between. This served as my inspiration, both in working with Coca-Cola and in creating the initial sketches for the project. Any marriage between art and the corporate world is precarious, at best, but in this case I think we have achieved something that invokes thoughts of joy, romance, laughter and intimacy, feelings that, like art itself, the world could use a little more of.”

Gallery Rouge is delighted to announce that we currently have available a complete Limited Edition set of these rare Coca-Cola bottles.  Please enquire now for more information!

DRenshaw_A Northern Romance

Known internationally for his intricate and joyous depictions of the natural landscape, Southport born and based artist David Renshaw began working on the ‘Northern Romance’ series of original artworks in 2010.  Still featuring his trademark skies, the collection has allowed the artist to explore the joys of courtship, romance and falling in love through his affectionate companions.  David has been progressing his ideas at an extraordinary rate and has created a vast world in which his characters live.  Originally based on antique photographs of Whitby, David has been looking further afield to towns such as Howarth in Yorkshire for inspiration.  Gallery Rouge is proud to work closely with David and delighted that his work continues to be met with delight and praise; indeed his paintings are often snapped up before they reach the gallery walls!

Afternoon AmoreLover's Harmony

Autumn Eve

Born in Iran, Hessam and his art have travelled a long way. Having gained wide recognition in his home country, Hessam completed his Master Degree in Italy before emigrating to Los Angeles. His loose expressionist approach primarily focuses in the interaction of the human form. Hessam’s boldly colourful paintings are filled with love and laughter, music and dance.  Hessam’s works are greatly influenced by his dramatic life experiences and the warm acceptance he has received from the world at large. He has exhibited his art in Europe, Asia, and North America, where his one-man shows have grown in popularity in the public eye.

Gallery Rouge is therefore thrilled to announce that we exclusively represent Hessam Abrishami in Europe.

Lighting Up the Landscape with Harry Brioche

HBrioche_Where Land Meets the Sky 10 x 10Harry_Brioche_ A New HorizonHBrioche_Passing Seasons

Born in the Seychelles in 1965 of Creole and American parentage, Harry Brioche had a wonderful childhood growing up in one of the world’s most famously beautiful areas. After spending two years in Dubai he moved to England in 1980 where he began formal training at Maidstone Art College. Harry found the traditional regime unsuited to his flamboyant and creative style however, so left for the more dynamic city of Manchester where he is now happily settled with his wife and two young sons.

He is entranced by the skies he sees in the UK describing them as “so much moodier than the Seychelles”, and he has spent days at a time travelling around the country photographing and painting the surrounding landscape. Also strongly influenced by such masters of the landscape as Turner and Vernet, Harry Brioche paints beautifully lit scenes in oils of the British countryside, and he sums up his latest work as “lighting the landscape”.

A new collection of original paintings by Harry Brioche is on display in the gallery now!!  Please click on this link to view them on our website!
