Gallery Rouge pushed the boat out again, and the audience responded! With a superb collection of iconic graffiti artwork, Rich Simmons demonstrated why he is one to watch in the world of Urban Art. It has taken Rich four years of application and endeavour to build the skills to create fantastic work of such depth. All stencils are hand drawn and cut on cartridge paper, where three stencils are crafted to build up the detail on each piece.

With his work almost sold out at the show Rich was naturally delighted with the response, and he has great plans for creating larger and more detailed stencils for his next collection. When you consider his work with the Princes Trust, his voluntary work with VInspired , his own charity endeavours through Art Is The Cure and a clothing label in the Asterisk movement it’s amazing how he finds the time! Rich Simmons is a dedicated artist whose determination and diligent application is going to see him go a long way.
