The buzz of anticipation and excitement was palpable. People began queuing before the main event, many milling around outside the gallery. At 1:30pm Terry arrived for his photo shoot, press interviews, and the production of the video. At 2pm the doors opened, providing many their first opportunity to speak with the man himself.

The response to the event was overwhelming. Terry was charismatic and charming, freely sharing his experiences of working with some of the most celebrated movie and music stars in history.

Gallery Rouge hosts another outstanding exhibition, this time with legendary photographer Terry O’Neill.  It’s not every day you get the opportunity to meet a superstar from the world of photography. For a lucky few that was exactly what happened last month at Gallery Rouge, when Terry O’Neill made a rare appearance at an exhibition of his iconic work. With a career spanning over five decades, O’Neill has built an unrivaled reputation as the foremost chronicler of the famous from movie stars and rock n roll icons to presidents, prime ministers and royalty.

Asked about the exhibition, O’Neill commented “It’s great to get out of London. I’ve come to St Albans because it’s a really good city, and I wanted a wider audience to see and appreciate the art. I love watching people and their reactions – they all seem to love it. I think Kuldip’s done a great job in displaying the work”

Gallery owner Kuldip Chohan said “I’m absolutely delighted with the turnout – I’m thrilled to see so many people not only enjoying the art, but also taking this rare opportunity to speak with the man and hear the stories behind each piece. It’s a real honour to have Terry here”.

Gallery Rouge are delighted to be holding their first ever photographic exhibition show casing the inspirational work of acclaimed photographer Terry O’Neill. With a career spanning over five decades, O’Neill has built an unparalleled reputation as the foremost chronicler of the famous from movie stars and rock n roll icons to presidents, prime ministers and royalty.

O’Neill will be in personal attendance between 2pm till 4pm on October 17^th. Meet the artist and take the opportunity to purchase a signed limited edition of your favourite photograph – many of which hang in national galleries and private collections and appear occasionally in fine art auctions in New York, London and Los Angeles.

It is impossible to overstate the impact Terry has had, both within the world of photography but also the indelible mark he has made through the images pioneering rock n roll backstage reportage, discovering The Beatles, The Stones and Elton John all of whom he catapulted onto the front page of newspapers and magazines. He became the photographer of choice for the biggest names in Hollywood.
